The Ethiopian American Citizens Council (EACC) delegation urged the US State Department to list TPLF as a terrorist organization that violated international law in armed conflict.
The EACC made this appeal after Sean Jones, the Ethiopian Mission Director of the United States Agency for International Development, confirmed that terrorist TPLF has plundered food aid in Amhara State, Ethiopia.
Jones also reiterated that the warehouse was looted by terrorist organizations. Therefore, EACC urges the international community to assume that there is a huge oppressive trend in the 27-year history of the TPLF.
Yoseph Tafari, President at EACC, said In the 27 years of TPLF ledโs government, killing of innocents, recruitment of child soldiers, human rights violations and suppression of freedom of speech have been rampant. โHowever, the international community has largely ignored the barbaric acts of the terrorist organization of TPLF, โ he added.
