ሞዛምቢክ በሰሜናዊ የሀገሪቱ ክፍል የሚገኘውን የናካላ ወደብ የተወሰነ ክፍል የባህር በር የሌላት ማላዊ አልምታ እንድትጠቀምበት ስምምነት ላይ ደረሰች።
ስምምነቱ ሞዛምቢክ በሰሜናዊው የሃገሪቱ ክፍል የሚገኘውን የናካላ ወደብ የባህር በር ለሌላት ጎረቤቷ ማላዊ በከፊል ለማከራየት የሚያስችል ነው።
የሞዛምቢክ ፕሬዝዳንት ፊሊፔ ኒዩሲ እና የማላዊው አቻቸው ላዛሩስ ቻክዌራ ባለፈው ሳምንት የመግባቢያ ሰነድ መፈራረማቸው ተጠቅሷል።
ሁለቱ ሀገራት ያከናወኑት ስምምነት የንግድ ግንኙነታቸውን፣ በኤሌክትሪክ አቅርቦትና በሌሎች የኢኮኖሚ ዘርፎች ያላቸውን ትስስር ለማሳደግ ያለመ መሆኑም ተገልጿል ።
በስምምነቱ መሰረትም በሞዛምቢክ ሰሜናዊ ክፍል የሚገኘውን ናካላ ወደብን የተወሰነ ክፍል ማላዊ በሊዝ አልምታ ለወጪና ገቢ ንግዷ ትጠቀማለች።
የሞዛምቢክ ፕሬዝዳንት ፊሊፔ ኒዩሲ ስምምነቱ በተፈረመበት ወቅት፤ ስምምነቱ ሁለቱንም አገሮች እንደሚጠቅም አንስተው፤ እንደ ሞዛምቢክ-ማላዊ የጋራ የኤሌክትሪክ ሃይል ማመንጫ ፕሮጀክት አይነት ጅምር ፕሮጀክቶችን ለማጎልበት እንደሚረዳ ተናግረዋል።
ስምምነቱ ቀደም ሲል በኤሌክትሪክ መሰረተ ልማት የተሳሰሩትን ሁለቱን ሀገራት ትብብር የሚያጠናክር መሆኑንም ፕሬዝዳንት ኒዩሲ ተናግረዋል።
የማላዊ ፕሬዚዳንት ላዛሩስ ቻክዌራ በበኩላቸው፤ የናካላ ወደብ ሀገሪቱ እቃ ለማጓጓዝ የምታወጣውን ከፍተኛ ወጪ ለመቀነስ እንደሚያግዛት ገልጸዋል፡፡
የናካላ ወደብ በማላዊ፣ ዛምቢያ እና ሞዛምቢክ በጋራ እየተገነባ ያለ የናካላ ልማት ኮሪደር አካል ሲሆን፤ የፕሮጀክቱ ዓላማ ወደብ ለሌላቸው ማላዊ እና ዛምቢያ የባህር መዳረሻን ለማመቻቸት እና የቀጠናውን የልማት ትስስር ለማሳደግ ነው ተብሏል።
የናካላ ወደብ ኮሪደር ልማት ሞዛምቢክን ጨምሮ የባህር በር የሌላቸውን ማላዊ እና ዛምቢያ ተጠቃሚ በሚያደርግ አግባብ በጋራ እየለማ እንደሚገኝም የማሪታይም ኤክስኪዩቲቭ ዘገባ ያሳያል።
