ኢትዮጵያ የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅትን በአባልነት እንድትቀላቀል አሜሪካ ድጋፍ እንደምታደርግ ገለጸች።
ከ2025 የዓለም አቀፍ የገንዘብ ተቋም እና የዓለም ባንክ የጸደይ ስብሰባዎች ጎን ለጎን የገንዘብ ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ እዮብ ተካልኝ (ዶ/ር) በአሜሪካ የንግድ ፅ/ቤት የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት እና የባለብዙ ወገን ጉዳዮች ረዳት ተወካይ ከሆኑት ኒል ጄ ቤክ ጋር ተወያይተዋል።
በውይይቱ ኢትዮጵያ የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅትን በአባልነት ለመቀላቀል እያደረገች ያለውን ከፍተኛ ጥረት አስመልክቶ ሚኒስትር ዴኤታው ገለጻ አድርገዋል።
በቀጣይ ዓመት መጋቢት ወር በሚካሄደው ጉባዔ ላይ፤ ኢትዮጵያ የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባል ለመሆን የሚያስፈልጉትን መስፈርቶች ለማሟላት ቁርጠኛ መሆኗንም አስረድተዋል።
በአሜሪካ የንግድ ፅ/ቤት የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት እና የባለብዙ ወገን ጉዳዮች ረዳት ተወካይ የሆኑት ኒል ጄ ቤክ በበኩላቸው ኢትዮጵያ የዓለም የንግድ ድርጅት አባል ለመሆን እያከናወነች ያለውን ከፍተኛ ጥረት የሚደነቅ ነው ብለዋል።
ኢትዮጵያ የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅትን በአባልነት እንድትቀላቀል አሜሪካ ድጋፍ እንደምታደርግ፤ እንዲሁም የኢትዮጵያ በተሳካ ሁኔታ ከዓለም አቀፉ የግብይት ሥርዓት ጋር መዋሃድ የአሜሪካ ፍላጎት መሆኑንም ገልጸዋል።
ሁለቱ ወገኖች ኢትዮጵያ የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባል ለመሆን በምታደርገው ጉዞ ላይ ትብብራቸውን ለመቀጠልና አጋርነታቸውን ለማጠናከር ተስማምተዋል። EBC
